Yet another long wait, there has been lots of things that have happened lately. First off, I would like to send my condolences to the families of Mark Lovell and Roger Freeman, racers for the SCCA ProRally Subaru Team who perished on July 12 after crashing into a tree. They were a great team and will be missed. On a lighter note, the D1 Competition was here on the 31st of August and preceded to be a very popular event. Many teams from Japan came to duke it out, as well as some domestic drivers. Also, Autobacs now has set up a very large shop in California, and also have set up a website at http://www.autobacsusa.com.

Whoa, it's been a long time. I had to make a site for a school project and I chose to make it about drifting. It's at livetodrift.tripod.com. Right now it's pretty basic, but I'll continue to work on it along with this site. This site will probably be renamed to Live To Race. The new SCC issue came out a while ago and exposed just how crappy the 2Fast 2Furious cars are. But I won't get into that. I also posted the pictures for the Spoon Integra Type-R on its page.

I just got the new SCC (Sport Compact Car) issue. Amazing as always, however I found some parts better than usual. The coverage on the new VW R32 was very good, one of the best new car tests that I have seen. And the pictures were also very well nice with the forest background.

First off, I have to get this off my chest. I think we can all agree that the Fast & Furious gave the compact car scene a boost. But I also think it hurt it badly, by giving it a horrible stereotype. Yes, there are people who street race and otherwise drive irresponsibly, but not everyone does it. With someone like Craig Lieberman who is deeply ingrained into the compact car world, I'm surprised that he had no say on the general theme of the movie. However, I will probably see the sequel nonetheless. I would just like everybody who reads this to make an effort to support organizations like Racers Against Street Racing.
